on my way to school i listened to the radio and caught a few moments of 'definitely not the opera' on cbc radio 1.  as chance would have it, this particular episode of DNTO was pretty much ALL about our special topics walking class.  glad to have caught a bit of an abridged version of many topics we've discussed term (like the el camino de santiago pilgrimage in northern spain, montreal native jean belliveau's eleven year walk around the world, and emotional/relationship-changing walks with mothers) all here in entertaining radio form:

it's of note that in 2007 elinor whidden attended the WALKING AND ART residency at the banff centre :)
